and Wawrinka moved to the semis. And in the Women’s quarter finals, the 19 year
old teenage sensation Madison Keys of the USA got the better of the experienced
Venus Williams. Serena too booked a berth in the semis.
Men’s Singles
In the much anticipated
quarterfinal clash between Kei Nishikori and Stansislas Wawrinka, the 4th
seeded Stan defeated the Japanese superstar in straight sets. In their last
encounter in the quarterfinals of the US Open, Nishikori got the better of Stan
in five sets.

Keys continued as she dispatched Venus Williams in three sets. Serena on the other

Tomorrow at Melbourne
Murray plays Berdych in the first
semifinals in Men’s Singles. Makarova plays Sharapova and Serena plays Keys in
the semifinals of the Women’s Doubles. The doubles men’s semifinals and the
mixed doubles semis will also be held tomorrow.
